Classes taken by Josh

It’s been one year now since I commenced PT sessions with Josh and since then I've seen a complete transformation in my body shape. I've managed to lose 6kgs and have reduced my body fat percentage by 6%. Prior to PT I focused more on cardio however Josh has introduced me to a different style of training, including weights, which has contributed to my body transformation. Previously I was too embarrassed and clueless to lift weights at a gym but now thanks to Josh my confidence in this area is continuing to grow as well as my strength.

Josh made me feel at ease from the start. He was realistic with the goals he set and encouraged me to work hard, to take one day at a time and to believe in myself. Before long I was beginning to see results. Josh continually adapted sessions to meet my changing needs: When I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee, he immediately came up with new and diverse training methods to accommodate my condition. I am still a work in progress but to date, I have shed 61 kg and lost more than 40 cm from my waist. Never have I been this fit and healthy but more importantly I am actually happy. Josh is a credit to the fitness industry and I cannot recommend him more highly.

I was due to climb Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa and only had a few months to prepare my strength and overall fitness. I was also keen to shed a few kilos that had stacked on over the previous few years due to too much alcohol and junk food. As well as basic technique and form, Josh helped me build my mental strength to get me through the challenge ahead of me, pushing me to my limits each week. The results speak for themselves – roughly 10kg lost since the start of 2013, and I’m looking and feeling like a better version of myself. Thanks to Josh for your help– I couldn’t have reached the summit of Kilimanjaro without their help!

I decided to start PT with Josh and he pushed me harder than I thought I could go mentally and physically. He opened my eyes and allowed me to see that toning up, eating well and building substantial muscle was well within my capabilities. He believed in me even when I didn't. It gives you immense strength when someone believes in you like Josh does. I am currently working on some pretty hefty max lift goals for 2014 and very excited to kick them goals fair in the face with Josh. Bring it on!

I was always excited to see what Josh had programmed for me each session, and loved the technical lifting and getting stronger. Nutrition wise Josh knows his stuff and helped me understand simple things that would get the results I wanted. And all of this meant in my 6 week challenge I smashed all my metrics - lost weight, body fat and improved all fitness tests - to finish 3rd in a tough field of boot campers. Training with Josh has truly been the only thing to change my body shape and mindset so positively and I can't recommend it more emphatically!

My goals when I first started training with Josh were to get back into shape and return back to the football field fit and healthy. Josh and I discussed my goals and he helped me design an aggressive program to meet them. With his personalized approach to my training inside and outside the gym, I have greatly exceeded even my own expectations. I’ve lost weight and dropped my body fat percentage, while increasing my strength and cardio levels. I am now in better shape mentally and physically and would recommend training with Josh to many of my friends and family.
